Where does our box originates from?
Our roots lie in ‘maroquinerie’ or leatherworking. The making of hand stitched luxury leather goods was refined and expanded in various specialisation courses both here and abroad. And although the passion for hand sewn handbags and accessories is still very much present, the idea arose over the years to also do something with saddle leather, a material that has always inspired us, especially for the interior.
Because saddle leather lends itself extremely well for minimalistic design, and because our first object is folded origami-wise and therefore does not need any stitching or sewing, the name ‘unstitched’ was born.
